Coming up this Summer on Freeview

Here is the list of changes set to happen on FREEVIEW by June 2025 that Media Boy UK HQ knows of (All information may change):

April 30th:

NVTV rename as That's Belfast on Freeview Channel 7
Sheffield Live rename as That's TV South Yorkshire on Freeview Channel 7
Must Have Ideas may launch on Freeview Channel 95
Nolly Africa to start streaming on Freeview Channel 2xx
GREAT! movies may start streaming on Freeview Channel 281
TWR to get remove from on Freeview Channel 733

By June 2025:

That's Dance may launch on L-Mux
That's Melody may launch on L-Mux
TV Warehouse may launch on L-Mux

Notts TV (By November 27th 2025).
Confetti Media Group will close Notts TV by today on Freely Channel 8 (Local area only).
(Closing down date has still to be confirmed).

BBC Four (2025).
The BBC will move BBC Four from Freely Channel 11 to BBC Iplayer.
(BBC Four moving date to move online only is still to be confirmed).

CBBC (2025).
The BBC to move CBBC from Freely Channel 351 to BBC Iplayer.
(CBBC moving online date is still to be confirmed)

BBC Radio 4 Extra (By 2028).
The BBC to move BBC Radio 4 Extra from Freely Channel 609 to BBC Sound.
(BBC Radio 4 Extra moving to BBC Sound date is still to be confirmed).

For Media Boy HQ only:

Channel name (Month/Year).
Channel name will launch today on Freely Channel TBC.

Channel name (Month/Year).
Channel name will move from Freely Channel TBC A to Freely Channel TBC B today.

New Channel name (Month/Year).
Old Channel name will rebrand as New Channel name today on Freely Channel TBC.

Channel name (Month/Year).
Channel name will close today on Freely Channel TBC.

Ayozat TV has confirmed that it will launch soon on Freeview Channel TBC.
(Ayozat TV launch date or channel number has still to be confirmed).

That's Belfast (April 30th 2025).
That's Media will rebrand NVTV as That's TV Belfast today Freeview Channel 8.

That's TV South Yorkshire (April 30th 2025).
That's Media will rename Sheffield TV as That's TV South Yorkshire today on Freeview Channel 7 (Local area only).

Must Have Ideas (April 30th 2025).
Must Have Ideas Ltd may launch today on Freeview Channel 95.
(Must Have Ideas launch date and broadcasting hours are still to be confirmed).

TWR Radio (April 30th 2025).
TWR Radio will be removed today from Freeview Channel 733.
(TWR Radio remove date still to be confirmed).
